We also write the tools

Printing something taller than the printer means cutting it up first — and no slicer does that part well. So we built Scale & Cut Studio: it scales a Bambu Studio project, cuts the oversized objects into plate-sized pieces, pins them together, hides the glue seams and re-plates the lot. It’s free, and it’s yours.

3D printing questions, answered

How much does custom 3D printing cost?

It depends on the size of the part, the material and how many you need. Send a file or describe the idea and we’ll reply with a free, no-obligation quote, usually the same day.

What files can I send for a 3D printing quote?

STL, 3MF, STEP, OBJ or a ZIP, up to 25 MB through the quote form. No file? Describe what you need, or send a sketch, photo or link, and we’ll work from that.

Which 3D printing material should I choose?

PLA for detailed toys, models and décor; TPU for flexible, impact-resistant drone and RC parts; PETG for everyday functional parts; ASA for outdoor, UV-exposed parts; ABS for tough, heat-resistant parts; and polycarbonate (PC) for the strongest, most heat-resistant parts. Tell us how the part will be used and we’ll recommend one.

How big can you 3D print?

Up to 350 mm in one piece. Larger models are split into plate-sized pieces with alignment pins and glued together, using our own Scale & Cut Studio software.

How long does 3D printing take?

Typical turnaround is about 48 hours once the quote is approved. Large pieces and small-batch runs take longer, and your quote includes a timeline.

Do you offer local pickup or shipping?

Both. Pick up locally in the Tacoma and Seattle area, or we’ll ship your parts to your door.

Will you keep my 3D model files private?

Yes. Your files and ideas are used only to quote and print your job and are never shared.
